Beneath the Sawdust

My name is Laron Algren and I build things.  As a little boy growing up on a farm, I was introduced to carpentry while fences and barns were being built.  Later on, I joined 4H and pursued woodworking.  My college career led me to an Industrial Engineering degree.  It was a week after graduation when I recieved a request for a pair of hand made chairs.

 

When I discovered the works of Wharton Escherick and Sam Maloof, my path became crystal clear.  So I am a furniture maker with a penchant for organic shapes, unique designs and fresh ideas.
